Principal's Note

To Whom It May Concern:

It is my sincere pleasure to be the principal at Roosevelt Elementary. I have been in education for 17 years, 11 years in administration, and I still have that passion to help students, staff, and parents in the great profession of teaching. I am married and have two boys, Luke age 12 who will be in 6th grade and Pete who will be in kindergarten next year. Becoming principal at Roosevelt Elementary has been the greatest professional move of my life. I am hopeful to be here for many years to come.

I have found that this school has an outstanding track record for teaching the curriculum with fidelity, caring for all student needs, providing a structured environment for learning, and understanding the needs of elementary students in general. The staff is very dedicated to the education of each and every student in the school; no students are allowed to “fall through the cracks.” The Roosevelt Elementary School system recognizes each student at his/her current level and makes the correct interventions to progress all students up to grade level or beyond. As we all know, the elementary years often determine the success rates in middle school, high school and beyond.

Feel free to call anytime or stop by if you have a concern or want to share some positive information with me. My phone number at school is 573-1701. Again, I want to express how excited I am for this new chapter in my life and I hope I will positively influence all students to achieve high academic success while teaching appropriate behaviors to the students at Roosevelt Elementary.

Sincerely,

Daniel P. Williams
Principal
Roosevelt Elementary
