My name is Mary Baker. I was born and raised in yakima, married 27 years and have 3 children. Lesli is a sophomore at davis, and Chadd & chris both graduated from Davis in 2000 and 2001.before i came to Davis I worked at the District Office. Before that, I worked at Providence (now Yakima Regional) for 14 years, and before I worked in various school district setting. I have always wanted to work in a school where my children attended and I am now fortunate to have that chance! Working at Davis, although very hectic, is a wonderful fit for me! |

My name is Benita Garza I've Been married for twenty-three years to a wonderful husband and have four wonderful children. My oldest son is in the military and I'm missing him a lots.My hobbies are spending lots of quality time with my family, camping, traveling, and shopping. I've worked at Davis High School for 11 years and my job title is Attendance Specialist Secretary. What I like best about my job are the students, the parents, and the staff. |

My name is Maria Marquez and I am the receptionist at Davis High School. As the receptionist of Davis High School, I have many responsibilities. One of my responsibilities is to greet visitors and make their experience at Davis a pleasurable one. I direct visitors and students to the appropriate area as well. Another responsibility is answering the phone in the main office. I assist the attendance office, the Gates Scholarship Coordinator (Roberto Valdez), and other staff members. I help teachers with copies and making sure the office equipment is running smoothly, preparing out-going mail, sorting in-coming mail, helping in the nursing room, and answer questions that may pertain to Davis High School are my daily responsibilities. I enjoy my job since I come in contact everyday with the wonderful Davis community. |

My name is Myra Gagnier and I've been married for 35 years this June. I have 4 wonderful children: two sons, two daughters. The two oldest are practicing lawyers. One who is a policeman in Memphis, Tennessee. One is still attending Eastern Washington University. The three oldest are married and the youngest is marrying in July. I have two beautiful granddaughters with another grandchild expected in October. I have worked at Davis High School for sixteen years. My job title is scheduling secretary. I also work with discipline. I have also had the job of receptionist, assistant registrar, and have worked in attendance.My hobbies are family, traveling and shopping.What I like best about my job is the diversity of students, parents and staff. |

My name is Sandy Collins. I am the Gates Secretary here at Davis. I have an AA degree. I have been a secretary for 1 year. I participate in the Lions Club. My hobbies consist of crochet, knitting, and spending time with my grandchildren. I am married and have 2 daughters and 1 son. I also have 2 grandchildren. |

Keith Johnson |
Keith Johnson is the security monitor at Davis H.S. he's been working at Davis for 4 years and in the school district for 6. He is a Davis H.S. graduate and is in the process of going to college at Y.V.C.C. He likes his job and enjoys helping kids with problems and fishing. He's the freshman boys basketball coach. |
Frank Hernandez |
Frank Hernandez is the Security Monitor at Davis High School. He's worked at Davis for about nine years and worked in the District for about 14. He went through High School at Wapato High School and then attended Perry Tech. He then went to Eastern Oregon State College. He likes his job and says his favorite part is seeing the kids, being happy, successful, and creating their future. Hobbies are sports, just about any sport, you name it. He has been happily married for thirty-six years He has four children they are roughly thirty-six, thirty-five, thirty-four, and twenty-seven he also has grandchildren. He enjoys being appreciated by his family and friends for what he is not what he has. |
